The 2018/19 SDA season got underway last night with 10 teams entering the Viking Shield.
The first Quarter final saw the Posties bt Trows following victories for both sides in the preliminary round over Ajax and Bar Fines. The remaining quarter finals saw WSC bt Shafts, Delting Boating Club bt Tingwall and Trumpton defeat Vikings.
The semi finals saw victories for the Delting B.C over Trumpton and Posties bt WSC.
In a close final it was Delting B.C who took an early lead but the Posties took the remaining 2 legs to claim the Viking Shield for a 2nd time.
