Liam Sutherland claims his 2nd Grand Prix event of the season victory over Neal Redfernin iFlooring shield.

Last night saw 50 players enter the iFlooring shield in the Scalloway Legion, after the early rounds which produced some close games the quarter finals saw Neal Redfern bt Gareth MacRitchie 4-0, Gareth Pottinger bt Barry Couper 4-2, Liam Sutherland defeat Roger Irvine 4-2 and Ian Hannah bt Marc Henry 4-3.

The semi finals were played over the best of 9 legs and saw Neal Redfern defeat Gareth Pottinger 5-2 and Liam Sutherland also beat Ian Hannah by 5 legs to 2 same.

In a high quality final played over the best of 11 legs Liam raced into lead and was able to hold of a comeback for Neal to emerge a 6-4 winner to win the iFlooring shield and his 2nd Grand prix of the season.
