Following a few questions from registered players in the past few weeks:

It is the intentions of the SDA committee to complete the 2019/2020 League Season, completing all remaining fixtures and to finalise the league standings with promotions and relegations also being confirmed ahead of a new season.

The 2020/2021 Shetland Darts Annual General meeting due to take place in August has been POSTPONED and will be arranged for when Guidelines on social distancing and meetings of higher numbers allow.

When will the 2019/20 season resume:

The committee cannot confirm a date for the resumption of 2019/2020 and make further decisions regarding the future of next season until further guidance on indoor games such as pool and snooker and darts has been released,

- restrictions on the number of people allowed to gather in groups, indoors have been relaxed further to allow teams to compete (Current Scottish Government Rules: Up to eight people from a maximum of three different households can meet indoors).

- social distancing rules allow

- All venues which host a SDA registered team are open and allow Darts and to resume again.

Once a date has been confirmed where the committee feel that it will be possible to restart he season again the committee will contact all team captains and arrange dates for completing outstanding games and then progressing with onto an AGM and plans for a new season in whatever form this may take.

Following the Scottish government review of restrictions on September 10th 2020 we may be able to announce further details,
