1st Division Singles title goes to Andrew Leaper

Saturday 20th October 2018 saw the 1st Division Singles take place in the Lerwick Legion with 12 players entering. The first round saw play on 2 boards of 6 players with the top 2 players from each group progressing to the semi finals. The semi finals saw Andrew Leaper bt Kevin Llewellyn 3-2 in a close game, the 2nd semi final saw another close game where Gary Devaney defeated Ellis Anderson 3-2. In the final it was Andrew Leaper who emerged the winner with a 4-2 victory over Gary to claim the First division singles title.
On the night there were 180s from Andrew Leaper, Ellis Anderson & Nigel Williamson. The highest checkout recorded on the night was a 120 by Shaun MacKenzie.
